I am new to group server. When i tried to download group server, the
file was just 34 KB. I am confused, if this is all, an entire group
server application is.
Could any one pls clarify me, whether the download file is complete?

You have downloaded the tarball that will enable you to start the
installation process. Most of the packages required are installed by the
buildout process. I encourage you to pay close attention to the
installation instructions <http://groupserver.org/downloads/install/>.
Yes That Might be the wrong file try the new groupserver file that is also
34mb if not email me again

Where can i find the source files? I want to contribute to this server's
development.. how can i join?
At the moment you cannot download the source without installing GroupServer.
The source will be downloaded as a side-effect of the instruction to run
buildout.
