Acceptable Use Policy

The following agreement is between you (The User) and OnlineGroups.net.

  1. The User agrees to use his or her legal name to register on all sites provided by OnlineGroups.net.
  2. The User agrees to only use email address that he or she owns and controls for sending and receiving messages to and from OnlineGroups.net.
  3. The User agrees to follow the Participation Protocol of every online group that he or she is a member of.
  4. The User agrees to respect the privacy of other users, and abide by the Privacy Policy of OnlineGroups.net.
  5. The User agrees not to undertake any action that will deny any user access to OnlineGroups.net. This includes any attempt to interfere with the software that runs OnlineGroups.net, or interfere with the use of the software by any user.
  6. The User agrees to not use OnlineGroups.net to attack, or attempt to breach security, on other machines or networks.
  7. The User agrees to only post content that is legal under the laws of the United States, the State of California, and New Zealand. This includes not posting any files or messages to OnlineGroups.net that contains objectionable material, breaks copyright, is libelous, or incites hatred or violence.
  8. The User agrees not to send Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE or spam) using OnlineGroups.net. The user must not send UCE, facilitate UCE, or allow others to send UCE.

Rights Reserved by OnlineGroups.net

  1. OnlineGroups.net reserves the right to remove content which contravenes the acceptable use policy, without notice.
  2. OnlineGroups.net reserves the right to remove any user, group, or site that it deems to have broken the acceptable use policy, without notice.
  3. OnlineGroups.net reserves the right to change the acceptable use policy at any time, without notice.

Dispute Settlement

  1. You agree that any litigation arising under this agreement or in any way relating to these services shall be brought within Christchurch, New Zealand, and you waive any objection as to venue or jurisdiction of any court located there.
  2. The governing law of this agreement shall be that of Christchurch, New Zealand.
