Post in Joining a Group and Registering an Account Using the Web
Below is a mock up of the first page the user will see when registering using
the Web.
The initial paragraph is designed to say what is going to happen on the next
few pages. Not that I expect anyone to read the text. The second paragraph
contains the faux-legal text for the site.
Then comes the actual interface. Like the Reset Password page, it is very
simple technically: it only contains a single entry and a button! If the user
enters an email address that already exists, the system will fire off a Reset
Password message. Hopefully we can add JavaScript code to do a sanity check, so
we know that the address is *vaguely* sane, even before it is sent to the
server ☺
