The documentation states that:
"GroupServer builds on five major infrastructure packages. These packages are
installed by the installation script. However, you must configure the
relationship between GroupServer and to these packages before you run the
installer."
I am confused: do I need to install PostgreSQL (for example) before I run the
installation script, or does the script install it? How can I configure
PostgreSQL before running the installation script if the installation script is
going to install it?
More specifically, I tried running the script and got this error:
groupserversvc@8a21d8a3d3a0:/groupserver-16.04$ ./gs_install_ubuntu.sh
Installing dependencies:
You will need to authenticate so this script can do this.
./gs_install_ubuntu.sh: line 36: sudo: command not found
Testing mail setup...
./gs_install_ubuntu.sh: line 44: swaks: command not found
There was a problem with the mail configuration. Either install
Postfix:
sudo apt-get install postfix
Or specify a remote SMTP server in the 'config.cfg' file.
Thanks!
