In case you haven't heard, Gmail recently introduced some new features
<http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2013/05/a-new-inbox-that-puts-you-back-in.html>
including a set of tabs that attempts to divide your inbox up into Primary,
Social, Promotional, Updates, and Forums tabs.
I started using these tabs last week on one of my email accounts, and I've
noticed that messages from an E-Democracy group that I'm subscribed to (one
email per post) are being categorized as Promotional instead of Forums. I
haven't yet received emails from groupserver.org or GroupServer originating
emails (notifications, digests) while using the new tabs, so I can't yet say
what happens to those.
Heads up for now. If I had to take a wild guess... maybe Google determines
while tab to categorize emails under based on an email's headers?
